Biomechanical Assessment Narellan

Improve your quality of life by aligning your muscles, nerves and movement

What is a Biomechanical Assessment?

During a  biomechanical assessment, the main goal is to identify whether or not your muscles, joints and nerves are working together as they should. It is essential to a podiatrist that they examine how your body has or currently is affecting the movement of your legs and feet. For instance, headaches, nerve pain, poor posture, hip placement and neck pain can be related to problems with feet and lower legs. The biomechanical assessment can provide you and your podiatrist a good overview of how your joints and muscles work every day and when you exercise. At Narellan, we look at the body as a whole rather than the one area of pain, because more often than not, the area of pain may not be the problem. Our team of Podiatrists will give you a very extensive and thorough assessment and will be able to explain to you what is happening.
